Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese combination of two Japanese kanji (symbols): spiritual energy, Rei- Spiritual and Ki- energy. It was initially inspired by ancient Tibetan practices, and it is a form of alternative medicine that uses energy therapy to bring healing to the Body, Mind, and Spirit. The basic principle of Reiki is Hands-On Healing.
Reiki is a Hands-On or hands-off, natural healing method. Reiki cleanses the chakras (energy body system) and aura by working on the body through the palms of their hands into the client’s body or self in the areas where it is needed most. This energy is our vital essence which, when flowing freely through our bodies in a balanced way, enables us to live full and essentially happy and healthy lives.
There are four levels of Reiki Attunements. To become a Reiki practitioner, you must be attuned through the first three levels is also a master level four but only at the 4th level are you prepared with the ability and wisdom to teach others the way of Reiki. In the first level of Reiki, the master-teacher transfers the healing power to you, the student, through attunement; this opens the third eye chakra and increases your psychic awareness. When you are attuned, this is the baseline for performing this therapy in person.
The second level of Reiki involves a process during which you are taught three symbols and how to read, write, and speak the symbols. They unlock a greater healing power to enable you to perform distance healing across time and space, which means that you could perform remote Reiki healing.
The third level of Reiki involves you becoming a master, and you would be taught additional symbols which expand and deepen true power to act as a conduit of Life Force energy. This process is much longer than the first two processes, as it takes a lot of practice from Level 1 and 2 to be ready for level 3.
Level four is the level of Master teacher; this is when you can become not only a Reiki master but a master teacher. Your energy is raised through what is known as fire and water attunement; this consists of one critical initiation process which enables you to teach and attune new practitioners to help others empower themselves through Reiki.
